Kathryn Chayka is the Chief Executive Officer of JKC Capital and a transformational leader in the franchise industry. Under her leadership, JKC Restaurants experienced significant growth, expanding to 81 restaurants at its peak. In 2025, Kathryn was named among Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by Women’s Executive Network. She is the recipient of the 2018 Jim Near Legacy Award, recognizing her ability to attract and retain top talent, leading to substantial gains in both sales and guest counts.
Kathryn has also served as an advisor on several Wendy’s committees, contributing her insights to the brand’s strategic direction. She holds an Honors Business Administration degree and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2014.

Radu is the Chief Investment Officer of JKC Capital. Prior to joining JKC in 2020, Radu worked at RBC Capital Markets and ran an investment fund for several private clients.
Radu graduated with his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2011.

Vice President Finance & Business Performance
Jeff is the Vice President Finance and Business Performance at JKC Capital. Jeff began his career at Ernst & Young LLP in the audit and assurance practice before moving into industry, where he spent over seven years at JD Power in progressive roles including Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Director, Tax. Jeff is a graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
Today, as VP, Finance and Business Performance, Jeff oversees all aspects of financial management, reporting, budgeting, and analysis — bringing a culture of clarity, accountability, and operational excellence to everything he does.
